What is Eid ul Adha? Hajj Qurbani Farz Celebration

To slaughter an animal is Sunnah Mu’akadah to celebrate the incident of Hazrat Ibrahim Alayhis Salam when He was about to sacrifice his one and only son just to obey the command of ALLAH Jalla Jalaaluhoo.

Lafz-e-Qurbani Qurb se bana hai. Qurban faulan ke wazan par hai. Iske mutabiq ye seegha ism-e-faail hai. Akhir me yay nisbati laga dene se lafz-e-qurbani ban gaya. Ab ye lafz un janwaro ke liye bola jata hai jo Eid-ul_adha ke roz ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala ke liye zibah kiye jate hai. Is aitbar se ise qurbani kehte hai. Qur’an-e-Hakeem ki ayat Surat-ul-Hajj ke mutabiq qurbani har ummat yani qaum par muqarrar ki gayi, jabki qurbani ke tareeqe alag-alag rahe hai. Sabse awwal Hadrat Adam Alayhis Salam ke do beton ne ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala ki bargah mein qurbani pesh ki. Ek ki qubool aur dusre ki radd ho gayi.

Ye silsila chalta raha, yaha tak ke Hadrat Ibraheem KhalilulLLAH ne apne bete Hadrat Ismail ki qurbani ALLAH Jalla Jalaaluhu ki rah mein pesh ki. Fir jannat mein bheja gaya dumba Hadrat Ismail ki jagah zibah ho gaya. Isi tarah qurbani ka ye silsila Nabi-e-Kareem SallALLAHU ‘Alayhe Wasallam ki maujoodgi mein bhi Qur’an-e-Pak ke hukm ke mutabiq hua. Surah #108 Al-Kausar Ayat #2 mein iski tafseel majud hai (neeche dekhiye)

The Holy Qur’an Chapter #108 Al-Kausar Verse #2

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ

Fasalli lirabbika wanhar

So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to HIM alone]

پس اپنے رب کے لیے نماز پڑھیئے اور قربانی کیجیئے

पस अपने रब के लिए नमाज़ पढ़े और क़ुरबानी कीजिये|

Islam Mein Qurbani ki Ehmiyat Kya Hai?

Hadrat Abu Hurairah ki hadees pak hai jo admi qurbani karne ki taqat rakhta ho aur fir bhi na kare, paighambar-e-azam SallALLAHU ‘Alayhe Wasallam farmate hai wo hamari idgah mein dakhil na ho.

Ek dusri hadees ke alfaz ka tarjuma is tarah hai- Nabi-e-Akram SallALLAHU ‘Alayhe Wasallam Madina Shareef mein das (10) saal muqeem rahe aur har sal qurbani farmate rahe.

Yahan tak ke apne Hajjat-ul-wada’a ke mauqe par sau (100) oont nahar qurban kiye. Jinme se taresath (63) ko khud aapne apne haath mubarak se zibah kiya, baki ka kam Hadrat Ali Radi ALLAHU Anhu ko saupa. Isi tarah azwaj-e-mutahharaat ki taraf se qurbani farmayi.

ALLAH Ta’ala ke yahan qurbani ke dino me qurbani karne se zyadah koi kam pyara nahi hai. Hadees-e-Pak ke mutabiq qayamat ke din qurbani ka janwar baalon, seengo, aur khuro samet milega. Aur qurbani ka khoon zameen par girne se pahle hi ALLAH Ta’ala ki bargah mein qubool ho jata hai. Hadees mein ye bhi hukm hai ke mote aur taaze janwaro ki qurbani kiya karo. Kyuke wo pul sirat par sawari ko kam ayenge. Qurbani ke janwarke har baal ke badle ek neki milegi.

Qurbani Ke Janwar Ke Masail aur Sharait

Chand masail aur sharait pesh kiye deta hu.

1. Chhota janwar ek sal ka jaise ke baqra, bhed wagerah,
2. Usse bada do sal ka bhens wagerah,
3. Use bada paanch saal ka jaise oont wagerah,

Khassi (Castrated) kiya hua janwar zyadah behtar mana jata hai. Ek riwayat mein do daant wale janwar ka bhi zikr hai. Qurbani ke liye kamzor, beemar, langda, maazoor,kaana,bhenga,kaan kata, aur seengh toota kisi bhi tarah ka aebdar janwar nahi hona chahiye.

Qurbani Ki Chand Sharait

1. Zibah karne wali chhuri janwar se chupakar tex ki jaye. Samne tez karne se janwar ko takleef hoti hai;
2. Jiski taraf se qurbani ho wo khud zibah kare aur agar nahi kare to kam az kam kareeb khada rahe;
3. Qurbani ke janwar ke khoon ke qatre zameen par girne se pahle hi sagheera gunah mua’f hote hai. (Sahih Muslim);
4. Qurbani namaz-e-‘Eid ke bad honi chahiye namaz-e-‘Eid se pahle qurbani jayaz nahi;
5. Aur agar kisi ne namaz-e-‘Eid se pahle qurbani kar li to wo sadqah hai;
6. Jin logo ka intqal ho gaya hai unki taraf se bhi qurbani karna jayaz hai. Magar zindah pahle apni taraf se qurbani kare fir mayyat ki taraf se;
7. Qurbani ke liye bade janwar mein saat (7) hissedar shareeq ho sakte hai;
8. Eid-ul-Adha ki namaz se pahle kuch na khana, aur bad mein qurbani ka gosht khana sunnat hai;
9. Jo aadmi qurbani karna chahta hai wo baqra ‘Eid ka chand dekhne ke bad qurbani ka janwar zibah karne tak apne baal aur nakhoon na kaate;
10. Aur agar koi shakhs qurbani karne ki taqat bhi nahi rakhta aur wo fir bhi esa karega to ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala use ajr-o-savaab ata farmayenge, Insha ALLAH Ameen. (Bukhari, Sahih Muslim Shareef)

Qurbani Karne Ka Sunnat Tariqa Nabi-e-Kareem SallALLAHU ‘Alayhe Wasallam Ka Tareeqa

Qurbani Ka Amli Tariqa

1. Qurbani ke janwar ko zameen par is tarah letaaye ke uska pet aur muh qibla ki taraf ho.
2. Fir Baaye hath se uska muh pakad lijiye.
3. Uske bad sidha paanv uski gardan par rakh dijiye.
4. Fir Qurbani ki du’a parkar Bismillah ALLAHU Akbar Kahkar zibah kar dijiye.

Qurbani Ka Falsafa

• ALLAH Ta’ala ki ibadat ko miljul kar karne ka manzar paidah hota hai.
• Alam-e-Muslemeen ki deeni quwwat zahir hoti hai.
• Jin logo ko pure saal bhar gosht naseeb nahi hota unhe bhi qurbani ke dino mein achhi miqdar mein gosht mil jata hai.
• Qurbani ki khaal se ghareeb, miskeen, bewaao ki madad ki ja sakti hai.
• Deeni madarse mein dena bhi savab hai.
• Jo cheeze khal aur chamdo se banti hai unke liye ye khaal achha saman hai. Lekin qurbani ki khaal kassab wagerah ko ujrat mein nahi deni chahiye. Unko unka mehantana alag se diya jaye.
• Qurbani karne se ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala ki raza ke liye ek achha jazba paidah hota hai. Qurbani karne wala shakhs Hadrat Ibraheem Alayhis Salam aur Hadrat Ismail Alayhis Salam ke us ‘azeem jazbe ki rau mein kho jata hai. Isse usko ALLAH Ta’ala ki bargah mein qurb hasil hota hai.
• Yun to har ibadat mein ikhlas aur ALLAH ki raza shamil honi chahiye magar qurbani karne mein banda khusnoodgi ke liye apne jazbat aur irado ko bhi qurban kar deta hai.
• Qurbani karte waq gosht khane ki niyat nahi honi chahiye. Niyat yahi ho ke ye kam main ALLAH pak parvar digaar ki raza ke liye kar raha hu.

Isi liye shari’at ka hukm hai jispar qurbani wajib hai use zarur qurbani karni chahiye.

Verses Related to Sacrifice on the day of Eid-ul-Adha

The Noble Qur’an, Surah #22 Al-Hajj Verse #33

  لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ مَحِلُّهَا إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ

Lakum feeha manafi’u ilaa ajalin-musamman summa mahilluhaa ilal bayti aateeq

For you the animals marked for sacrifice are benefits for a specified term; then their place of sacrifice is at the ancient House.

تمہارے لیے ان میں ایک وقت معین تک فائدے ہیں پھر اس کے ذبح ہونے کی جگہ قدیم گھر کے قریب ہے

तुम्हारे लिए उनमे एक वक़्त मु’अय्यन तक फायदे है फिर इसके ज़िबह होने की जगह क़दीम घर के क़रीब है |

The Noble Qur’an, Surah Al-Hajj, Verse #37

لَن يَنَالَ اللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَاؤُهَا وَلَـٰكِن يَنَالُهُ التَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ ۚ كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ سَخَّرَهَا لَكُمْ لِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

Lan yanala ALLAHa luhoomuha wala dimaoha walakin yanaluhu alttaqwa minkum kathalika sakhkharaha lakum litukabbiroo ALLAHa ‘ala ma hadakum wabashshiri almuhsineena

It is not their meat Nor their blood, that reaches ALLAH: it is your piety That reaches Him: He Has thus made them subject To you, that ye may glorify ALLAH for His guidance to you and proclaim the good news To all who do right.

الله کو نہ ان کا گوشت اور نہ ان کا خون پہنچتا ہے البتہ تمہاری پرہیز گاری اس کے ہاں پہنچتی ہے اسی طرح انہیں تمہارے تابع کر دیا تاکہ تم الله کی بزرگی بیان کرو اس پر کہ اس نے تمہیں ہدایت کی اور نیکوں کو خوشخبری سنا دو

What is Eid ul Adha? Hajj Qurbani Farz Celebration

We will learn about What is Eid ul Adha? Hajj Qurbani Farz Celebration in this article today. The very well known word not even by Muslims but by the entire world too. I will not be discussing something serious about this day today. However, I will try to reveal few aspects in very simpler terms about this day. The feelings and activities in a common Muslim’s home before and on this auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, Insha ALLAH which will be on this Saturday, September 10, 2016 (Dates may vary according to moon citation and Hilal Committee decisions). The name of this Eid itself invokes in most of us the joy of eating meaty feasts. While among children the excitement of buying the best goat/sheep in town and then feeding and playing with them till the day of sacrifice. In fact, the small children often get attached with those goats and shed tears on the day of sacrifice finally.

This is what the aim of this pious day, the day of Eid ul Adha. It is celebrated in the remembrance of Hazrat Ibraheem Alayhis Salam and His pious son. Who has sacrificed himself in the way of ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala. Hazrat Ibraheem Alayhis Salam obviously would have the love of the father towards his child.

The sacred love created by ALLAH Ta’ala. Though he didn’t nod, neither he imagined. His consent from the core of His heart was there for following the command of ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala. Urgent Hajat.

Moreover, the mere truth is, there is no love deeper and truthful than ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala towards us. We must love HIM in return up to the possible extent of humanity. This Eid ul Adha is a celebration of sorts. In that few Muslims manage to fulfill their obligatory duty of performing Hajj and the joy of celebration is then doubled for them. For the rest remaining of us, sacrificing and distributing the meat in the right way brings our share and happiness. As fulfilling any commandment properly is in itself brings reward too. After all, we only have two grand celebrations in a year so we make the most of out of it, in the best of manners. Tahajjud Prayer

Ahead of this, we should take time out to reflect deeper on our lives and especially the special occasions of Eid ul Adha. So, for those who perform hajj, it’s a sacrifice more than that of a goat. Most people leave their extended families and sometimes even children behind, due to contingencies. We train ourselves and begin to live a meaningful life compared to non-believers where they splurge money and know not where life is going. As well the physical exertion in this heat nowadays only adds to the struggle. But lo, imagine the innumerable rewards in both the worlds. Surah Fatiha Wazifa.

Other ya ALLAH Dua Wazaif

• yaALLAH Nikah Istikhara
• Pyar Me Pagal Karne Ka Wazifa
• Kala Jadu ka Tor
• Dua Before Sleeping

The knowledge that this world is a temporary abode for us, makes all the sacrifice worthwhile for despite it all, there is a sense of peace of pleasing the Lord of seven earths and skies. Without these sacrifices and trials in monetary physical or even emotional terms, the willingness to strive for a better place in the afterlife wouldn’t exist in us.

Therefore, the literal and subtle sacrifices we are commanded to do over this occasion of Eid ul Adha, we cannot deny the fact the immense joy and relief we feel having obeyed ALLAH TA’ALA and fulfilled the Sunnah. Alhamdulillah. How to Seek Forgiveness in Islam?

It’s about time we begin communicating and reminding our youth and children the meanings that lie beneath the surface of these sacrifices and rites done on both Eid ul Adha respectively. This will, in turn, instill in them the habit of sacrificing their worldly desires when needed in life as well keep them striving for the rewards that lie ahead for them in Jannah for the small whims they let go in this world. No Meat, no blood reaches ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala

The Noble Qur’an, Surah #22 Al-Hajj Verse #37

لَن يَنَالَ اللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَاؤُهَا وَلَـٰكِن يَنَالُهُ التَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ ۚ كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ سَخَّرَهَا لَكُمْ لِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

Lan yanala ALLAHA luhoomuha wala dimaa-ooha walaa-kin yanaaluhu-ttaqwa minkum. Kazaalika sakhkharahaa lakum litukabbiroo ALLAHA ‘alaa maa hadaakum. Wabashshiri-l muhsineen

Their meat will not reach ALLAH, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify ALLAH for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good.

الله کو نہ ان کا گوشت اور نہ ان کا خون پہنچتا ہے البتہ تمہاری پرہیز گاری اس کے ہاں پہنچتی ہے اسی طرح انہیں تمہارے تابع کر دیا تاکہ تم الله کی بزرگی بیان کرو اس پر کہ اس نے تمہیں ہدایت کی اور نیکوں کو خوشخبری سنا دو

अल्लाह को न उनका ख़ून और ना उनका गोश्त पहुँचता है अलबत्ता तुम्हारी परहेज़गारी उसके यहाँ पहुँचती है इसी तरह उन्हें तुम्हारी ताब’अ कर दिया ताके तुम अल्लाह की परहेज़गारी बयान करो उसपर की उसने तुम्हे हिदायत की और नेकों को ख़ुशख़बरी सुना दो|

There is no meat and no blood reaches to ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala. HE tests only the intentions of HIS slaves. Neither HE needs the meat nor the blood of the animal. Islamic stresses to prefer to obey ALLAH’s command over material gains of this world. The only way out to Jannah.
