Islamic Remedies for Undue Menses Also known as Istihaza Ke Masail Aur Ilaj in Islam

Islam Mein Istihaza Kise Kehte Hai? Istihaza wah khoon jo ghair-e-rehamn se shuru hokar farj-e-dakhil se faarigh hojaye. Khwah wah khoon haqiqat ho ya hiqmah istihaza ko dam-e-faasid bhi kaha jata hai. Istihaza ko angrezi mein undue menses bhi kaha jata hai, jiski ‘alamat ye hoti hai ke ghair haiz ke dino mein khoon aane lagta hai, iska koi waqt muqarrar nahi hota. Aur ye haiz hi ke manind halat hoti hai lekin ghair haiz ke roz mein ye ata hai. Ye ek shadeed takleef deh marz-e-khawateen hai. Ye kuch be-tarteeb haiz ki tarha hi hota hai. Be-tarteeb haiz ke liye wazifa yaha dekhe. Haiz, Nifas aur Istihaza ke masail aur e’hkam ki ehmiyat muta’aliq jaanne ki zarurat hai ya nahi. Aur agar zarurat hai to kiske darje mein hai. Mustahab hai, sunnat hai ya fir wajib hai? Khawateen aur unke azwaj aur awliya par in masail ka seekhna farz jabke fareezah se a’atanayi ka ye ‘alam hai ke na to koi aurat iski zarurat ko mehsoos karti hai aur nahi kisi shauhar aur wali. Awaam to darkinar koi alim bhi in masail ki zarurat ka qayel nazar nahi ata. Maahwari mein khoon ka ziyadah ana se shifa ka wazifa yaha dekhe.

Khalaf Bin ‘Ayub ne apne sahebzade ko pachas hazar (50,000) dirham dekar balkh se baghdaad ta hsool ‘ilm ke liye bheja tha. Aur jab unka sahebzada is tamam raqam ko kharch karke ghar lauta to,

Khalaf Bin ‘Ayub (Walid mohtaram) ne apne sahebzade se pucha, “Kya seekhkar aye ho?”

Jawab mein sahebzade ne farmaya, “Sirf ek masla! wah ye ke agar haiz aksar muddat yani dus din par munfata’h ho jaye to zamana ghusl haiz mein dakhil nahi, dus se kam mein munfata’h ho jaye to haiz mein dakhil hai!”

Is jawab ko sunkar iske Walid Mohtaram ne intihayi khushi ka izhar karte hue kaha, “WALLAH Maziyat safrak, ALLAH ki qasam aapne apne safar ko zaaleh nahi kiya balke intihayi qeemti banaya!”

Ek waqt wo tha jab in masail mein se ek masle ke khatir door-door tak jana qubool hua karta tha. Aur ek waqt ye hai ke ‘ilm hona to door aur deegar janna to door, ye fareeza zinda hi nahi. ALLAH Zille Shanahu ki raza mein chalaya hua ek qadam ek chhote se masle ko janne ke liye barhaya hua ek haath, hume aur hum jintak ye ‘ilm pahuchayenge unko bhi ALLAH ki rehmat mein nehla sakta hai, jannat ka aala darja maqaam dila sakta hai. Know Undue Menses in Simple Words

Istihaza Ko Janiye Asaan Alfaaz Mein

Blood which discharges from women is called Undue Menses. 

Undue Menses is generally yellowish, off-white and cold discharge with no gush or irritations. This is not even thick liquid. However, sometimes the color of the blood may be red or blackish and it may also be warm and thick and may be discharged with gush and irritation.

There are three categories of the undue menses in women i.e.

1. Slight or Qalila in Urdu
2. Medium or Mutawassita in Urdu; and
3. Excessive or Kasira in Urdu.

Slight or Qalila in Urdu
If the blood sticks to the surface of the sanitary pad that women uses, and does not come out or penetrate into it, this undue menses is Qalila in Urdu.

Medium or Mutawassita in Urdu
Vice-versa of the above condition if the blood penetrates into the sanitary or pad, even partially but does not soak the cloth tied, on the outer side, this type of undue menses is called Mutawassita in Urdu.

Excessive or Kasira in Urdu
In another case, if the blood penetrates through the sanitary pad, soaking it and the sanitary pad is around it, such condition of undue menses is known as Kasira in Urdu.

Frequently Asked Questions/Issues About Undue Menses

Question. Is it permissible for a woman going through undue menses to perform a Friday ritual bath?

Answer. Yes, it is.

Question. What If a period of a woman last upto 10 days. During which she releases blood during the intitial days of her menstruation cycle (periods) and then releases dark brown liquid with a little blood in the last 2-3 days. Can she offer obligatory prayers?

Answer: If you have a fixed days of menstruation cycle (periods) i.e. 7 days. However, if you encounter dark brown liquid after these 7 days, then the obligation is that you have to consider those additional days (more than 7 days) as an undue menses. If you experience a fixed number of days of bleeding during menses i.e. for few past months you had 7 days of bleeding, in this case, consider  those days additional to 7 days as an undue menses. 

Istihaza Ke Masail Aur Jawabat in Roman English

Sawaal. 10 roz se zyadah khoon behta ho to hum wuzu kar ke namaz parh sakte hai aur ramzan rakh sakte hain? Meri problem yeh hai ke mujhe jab bleeding start hoti hai to dark brown rang ka khoon ata hai aur thode roz ke bad bilkul halki boonde ane lagti hai. Us ke bad 6 roz se 7 roz bad taza blood ata hai aur woh phir 10 se 12 roz tak rehta hai. Mujhe is bare main uljhan hai ke mujh ko jab kam ta’adad mein khoon ata hai to main namaz sakti hu ya nahi? Meherbani karke jawab dijiyega?

Jawaab. Ager ap ke haiz ki taarikh or miyad tay hai yani pichle 2 maah pahli tarikh se 7 tarikh tak haiz ka khoon kharij hota raha to agar is maah ap ko is tarha khoon aye ke wo 10 roz se ziyada ta’adad ho jayae to ap ka fareeza hai ke apne haiz ki miyad ke mutaabiq roz ko haiz (maslan 7 roz) aur baaqi roz ko Istihaza ke roz qaraar de dijiye.

Ager aap ki haiz ki tarikh tay hai (maslan pahli tareekh) aur tarikha main khoon aye ya tarikh aur miyad (khoon ke aane ke roz ki kul ta’adad) dono tay nahi hai (jaise kabhi pahli tarikh ko aur kabhi orpanchvi tareekh ko aata hai aur is hi tarha kabhi 5 roz aur kabhi saat roz aata hai) to jis khoon main haiz ki ‘alamaat ho aur yeh (khoon-e-‘alamaat) 3 roz se ziyadah aur dus roz kam ho to is ‘alamaat wale khoon ko haiz aur dusre wale khoon ko Istihaza qarar de dijiye.

Aur agar apke khoon ke ane ke roz tay hai (jaise ki pichhle maah mei aye the) to agar apko is maah khoon aye aur dus roz se ziyadah ho jaye aur baaz roz haiz ki ‘alamat ke sath aye. Aur dusre roz mein bila ‘alamat to khoon-e-‘alamat  khoon ke roz ki miyad pichhle do mah ki miyad ke barabar hai to is khoon-e-‘alamat ko haiz aur baqi ko Istihaza qarar de dijiye. Aur agar is maah khoon-e-‘alamat khoon ke roz ki miyad pichhle do maah ke khoon ki miyad se ziyadah ya kam ho to pichhle roz ki miyad ke barabar ke roz ko haiz ke roz aur baqi ko Istihaza ke roz qara de dijiye.

Ghaur Talab: Jin roz mein khoon ko haiz qarar de un mein haiz ke ehkaam per amal karein or Istihaza ke roz mein is ke ehkaam per amal karein. Ho sake to kisi qaribi ‘Alim ko apna masala sahi taur per bayan kar ke sahe tafseel shuda jawaab hasil karein.

استحاضہ کے مرض سے شفاء کا عمل 

١. سب سے اول درود شریف ٣ مرتبہ پڑھیے۔
٢. اسکے بعد ٧٠ مرتبہ سوره فاتحہ پڑھیے۔
٣. اسکے بعد پھر سے ٣ مرتبہ درود شریف پڑھیے
٤. پھر پاک صاف پانی پر دم کر دیجئے
٥. پھر اس پانی کو مریض کو پلا دیجئے ایک ساتھ یا پھر تھوڑا تھوڑا کر کے۔
٦. تاحصول شفاء یہ وظیفہ کر سکتے ہیں۔
غور طلب: خواتین یہ عمل حیض میں پڑھ سکتی ہیں۔ شرط یہی ہے کہ قرآنِ پاک کو ہاتھ نہ لگائیں۔

Istihaza ke marz se shifa pane ke liye Surah Fateha ka wazifa 

Surah Fateha, mein sare marz se shifa di hui hai. Bas hume lena ana chahiye ALLAH Zille Shanahu se. Is wazifa ko karne ke saath-saath 2 chammach Sharbat-e-Injabar har ghante mein mareez ko pilate rahe, har roz jab tak fawaid na ho.

1. Ye amal kisi bhi roz aur kisi bhi behtar waqt kar sakte hai. Koi bhi shaks mareez ke liye ye wazifa kar sakte hai. Aur mareez chahe to khud bhi kar sakte hai;
2. Agar haiz mein bhi hai to bhi wuzu bana lijiye;
3. Fir shuru mein Durood-Shareef 3 martaba parhiye;
4. Fir Surah Fateha 70 martaba parhiye;
5. Deegar, fir se wahi Durood-Shareef 3 martaba parhiye jo shuru mein parhi thi;
6. Pak-saf pani par dum kar dijiye aur is pani ko mareez ko pila dijiye. Ya thoda-thoda kar ke bhi pila sakte hai;
7. Ye amal rozana kijiye jab tak shifa hasil na ho jay;

Ghaur Talab: Koi bhi shaks ye amal mareez ke liye kar sakta hai. Mareez haiz ke roz mein bhi ye wazifa kar sakti hai bas ja namaz par na bethe aur Qur’an-e-pak ko hath na lagaye. Surah Fateha yad hai to mooh zubani parh lijiye.

Cure from the disease of Undue Menses

Surah Fateha, has all disease cure within it, Alhamdulillah. All we are required get the benefits from it.

1. On any day and at any time and any one can do this practice;
2. In the state of ablution;
3. Recite Durood-Shareef 3 times in the starting;
4. Recite Surah Fateha 70 times;
5. After this, once again recite the same Durood-Shareef 3 times in the end.
6. Blow it on pure and clean water and let the patient drink it;
7. Do this till you get cure from this disease.

Note: Any one can perform this amal on behalf of patient. There is no fix time. Can be done in the menses also. If you are in menses, you can also read this amal without touching The Noble Qur’an, if you have memorized Surah Fateha.

इस्तिहाज़ा के मर्ज़ से शिफा का अमल हिंदी में

इस्तिहाज़ा के मर्ज़ से शिफा पाने के लिए सूरह फातेहा का वज़ीफ़ा|सूरह फातेहा, में सारे मर्ज़ से शिफा दी हुई है| बस हमे अल्लाह ज़िल्ले शानहु से लेना आना चाहिए|  इस वज़ीफ़ा को करने के साथ-साथ 2 चम्मच शरबत-ए -इंजबार हर घंटे में मरीज़ को पिलाते रहे, हर रोज़ जब तक फ़वाइद न हो|

1. ये अमल किसी भी रोज़ और किसी भी बेहतर वक़्त कर सकते है| कोई भी शख्स मरीज़ के लिए ये वज़ीफ़ा कर सकते है| और मरीज़ चाहे तो ख़ुद भी कर सकते है;
2. अगर हैज़ में भी है तो भी वुज़ू बन लीजिए;
3. फिर शुरू में दुरूद शरीफ 3 मरतबा पढ़िए;
4. फिर सूरह फातेहा 70 मरतबा पढ़िए;
5. दीगर, फिर से वही दुरूद शरीफ 3 मरतबा पढ़िए जो शुरू में पढ़ी थी;
6. पाक-साफ पानी पर दम कर दीजिये और इस पानी मरीज़ को पिला दीजिये| या थोड़ा-थोड़ा कर के भी पिला सकते है;
7. ये अमल रोज़ाना कीजिये जब तक शिफा हासिल न हो जाए|

ग़ौरतलब: कोई भी शख्स ये अमल मरीज़ के लिए कर सकता है| मरीज़ हैज़ के रोज़ में भी ये वज़ीफ़ा कर सकती है बस जा नमाज़ पर न बैठे और क़ुर’आन-ए -पाक को हाथ न लगाए| सूरह फातेहा याद है तो मुँह ज़ुबानी पढ़ लीजिए|
